Leisure Society handcrafts each frame in Japan from 12k, 18k, and 24k gold-plated titanium and cotton-based acetate, using techniques more common to fine jewelry than eyewear. Founded by California designer and CFDA member Shane Baum, the collection draws from classic silhouettes and vintage hardware to produce heirloom pieces, often released in numbered editions of just 60. Visionary Optics carries roughly 125 Leisure Society styles across our three NYC locations — many of them rare and out of production elsewhere.
