Why Press at Visionary Optics?

PRESS Eyewear is the namesake brand of Jeff Press, who launched it in spring 2024 after nearly three decades shaping the modern American luxury eyewear industry. Press began his career at Robert Marc NYC in 1996, became Designer of Morgenthal Frederics in 2006 under Richard Morgenthal, and was named Chief Creative Officer of Luxury Optical Holdings in 2018 — building his own brand around Japanese titanium and Mazzucchelli M49 bio-acetate.

Visionary Optics carries PRESS Eyewear across our three NYC locations, with strong inventory in both pure-titanium models (Stingray, Bel Air, Sunday Morning) and combination titanium-acetate models (The Rebel, The Song, The Bribe). Each frame is handcrafted in Japan in small batches.
