Smoked oak changes color through steaming and thereby gets a brown, dark brown or even a black color tone. The oak tree is a rapid-growing, up to 35 m high tree with ferny-feathery like, bottom side silver haired leaves and brush-like flower heads. This valuable type of wood is suitable for manufacturing furniture, veneers and parquet.
