MYKITA was founded in Berlin in 2003 by Moritz Krüger, Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans and Philipp Haffmans, and still designs and builds every frame at the MYKITA HAUS, its modern manufactory in a landmarked red-brick building on Köpenicker Straße by the Spree.
LITE ACETATE carries the LITE architecture into acetate. MYKITA describes the reduced design concept as standing for supreme comfort in a refined aesthetic.
The openly displayed spiral hinge is signature MYKITA design, patented and built without screws or welded joints.
The frame is built from a slender acetate frame front on circular stainless steel temples, finished with acetate temple ends.
Lens width 54mm, bridge 18mm, temple length 145mm.
