MYKITA MISAKO Optical

The MYKITA Misako is an optical frame, handmade in Berlin.

MYKITA was founded in Berlin in 2003 by Moritz Krüger, Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans and Philipp Haffmans, and still designs and builds every frame at the MYKITA HAUS, its modern manufactory in the Pelikan-Haus in Kreuzberg.

LESSRIM reinvents the rimless concept around a distinctive 0.8mm open-frame rim, which MYKITA describes as an almost weightless presence.

The openly displayed spiral hinge is signature MYKITA design. It is patented and built without screws or welded joints, which is the house principle that a technical solution should also be an aesthetic one.

The frame is built from circular stainless steel.

Lens width 52mm, bridge 18mm, temple length 134mm.

Silicone temple tips and nose pads make the fit individually adjustable, and our opticians will set it to your face in store.
