MYKITA LUCIA Optical
The MYKITA Lucia is an optical frame with a butterfly front, handmade in Berlin.
Lucia takes the butterfly silhouette that DECADES draws from and rebuilds it in steel rather than acetate.
MYKITA was founded in Berlin in 2003 by Moritz Krüger, Harald Gottschling, Daniel Haffmans and Philipp Haffmans, and still designs and builds every frame at the MYKITA HAUS, its modern manufactory in the Pelikan-Haus in Kreuzberg.
DECADES translates eyewear silhouettes ranging from retro to radical into modern stainless steel constructions, finished with advanced surface treatments.
The openly displayed spiral hinge is signature MYKITA design. It is patented and built without screws or welded joints, which is the house principle that a technical solution should also be an aesthetic one.
The frame is built from circular stainless steel.
Lens width 54mm, bridge 16mm, temple length 133mm.
Silicone temple tips and nose pads make the fit individually adjustable, and our opticians will set it to your face in store.
This one is the 283 Champagne Gold/Aurore colourway.
