Named for the colorful Basque caver in Trevanian's novel Shibumi, the Le Cagot is a bold rounded frame carved in 7mm acetate. The center of each rim arches upward in a curious gesture while the outsides sweep down to the connections, framing rounded-square lenses. From the 9mm connections, the temples flare asymmetrically up and down before tapering into a 6mm bow with rounded tips. The signature Max Pittion block brass hinges and brass pins weld with friction through the core wire when pressed.
