The Lunetterie Générale Grand Voyageur is an optical frame handmade in Sabae, Japan from Japanese acetate. Founded in 2018 by Montreal-based designer Julien Couture, Lunetterie Générale fuses French refinement with mid-century cinematic inspiration through custom 7-barrel riveted hinges and a signature engraved wire core.

With its wide gaze and quiet stature, Grand Voyageur is an ode to those who move through the world with open eyes and untethered hearts. Inspired by thinkers, travellers, and romantics who believe in beauty beyond reason — in love, in energy, in everything unseen. It’s a vessel for visionaries, a compass for those who look not just ahead, but within.
