Lunetterie Générale Bon Vivant Sunglasses — Medium Tortoise/18K Gold/Solid Green G13
The Lunetterie Générale Bon Vivant is a pair of sunglasses handmade in Sabae, Japan from Japanese acetate. Founded in 2018 by Montreal-based designer Julien Couture, Lunetterie Générale fuses French refinement with mid-century cinematic inspiration through custom 7-barrel riveted hinges and a signature engraved wire core.
The term Bon Vivant is often used to describe someone that enjoys the pleasures and little things life has to offer. With its imperfect shape and volume, this frame embodies artistic renewal from the post-war period with equal hints of romance and cultural excitement of the Roaring Twenties when French exoticism was universally celebrated. A classic and singular piece, an ideal companion for a holiday by the sea and walks in the sun.
