The Leisure Society Melvyn is an optical frame handcrafted in Japan from pure block titanium. Designed by California CFDA member Shane Baum, each frame is sculpted from solid block titanium, hand-polished like fine jewelry, individually numbered, and finished with jewelry-grade PVD ion-plating in 12k, 18k, or 24k gold. Available at Visionary Optics' three NYC locations or online with same-day ZEISS prescription lenses.
The unisex frame, named after the Palm Springs-based restaurateur Melvyn Haber, has a round and slightly oversized front made of 100% block titanium plated in pure 12k, 18k, or 24k gold. The Melvyn has a color option new to this season: the 18k Rose Gold/Glacier with 18k rose gold-mirrored lenses
