Leisure Society Komenda Sunglasses

The Leisure Society Komenda is a pair of sunglasses handcrafted in Japan from pure block titanium. Designed by California CFDA member Shane Baum, each frame is sculpted from solid block titanium, hand-polished like fine jewelry, individually numbered, and finished with jewelry-grade PVD ion-plating in 12k, 18k, or 24k gold. Available at Visionary Optics' three NYC locations or online with same-day ZEISS prescription lenses.

Inspired by Erwin Komenda, the Austrian visionary behind some of the most iconic automotive silhouettes of the 20th century, Komenda embodies precision engineering and timeless design. Crafted entirely from pure Japanese titanium, it features a multi-tooled, bolted temple construction and finely laser-etched top detailing that nods to bespoke coachwork. Finished in jewelry-grade ion-plated gold for enduring brilliance and corrosion resistance.
