The Leisure Society Corbusier is an optical frame handcrafted in Japan from pure block titanium. Designed by California CFDA member Shane Baum, each frame is sculpted from solid block titanium, hand-polished like fine jewelry, individually numbered, and finished with jewelry-grade PVD ion-plating in 12k, 18k, or 24k gold. Available at Visionary Optics' three NYC locations or online with same-day ZEISS prescription lenses.
The Corbusier, inspired by the French-Swiss father of modern architecture, combines a pure beta-titanium chassis adorned with intricate patterns and ultra thin beta-titanium temples add to the comfortability while being coated in 12k silver or 18k gold to maintain a jewelry-esque quality. It is made with the technologically advanced construction that can combine the titanium chassis with a zyl front.
