Leisure Society Campden Sunglasses
The Leisure Society Campden is a pair of sunglasses handcrafted in Japan from pure block titanium and cotton-based acetate. Designed by California CFDA member Shane Baum, each frame is sculpted from solid block titanium, hand-polished like fine jewelry, individually numbered, and finished with jewelry-grade PVD ion-plating in 12k, 18k, or 24k gold. Available at Visionary Optics' three NYC locations or online with same-day ZEISS prescription lenses.
Named after Chipping Campden, a market town in the Cotswold district of England internationally renowned for its contributions to the Arts and Crafts movement since the 1900’s. This classically-inspired frame combines gold-plated titanium with pressed patterns filled with delicately set enamel, intricate laser etchings, and beautifully layered acetate on the frame front. The block-titanium temples have hidden spring hinges for comfort and flexibility around the ears.
