Matsuda Optical Glasses
Matsuda optical frames are crafted by hand in the eyewear workshops of Sabae, Japan, through as many as 250 steps per design. The acetate is cured for more than three months before construction, then hand-finished by master polishers who apprentice for ten years. Every hinge and temple is designed for its own collection.
